Hi, I am new

#1 Unread post by motormom »

I think I joined this once but it was a while ago. I am a late-middle aged woman with 3 kids who rides a Yamaha V-Star 650. I live in the San Francisco Bay area (Oakland) and use my bike to go to work and get around town. Not much into long rides, it's not comfortable enough for that.

hey there
welcome aboard
2006 V Star 650 classic owner here in Chicago ( brr...its cold).
I know of a young lady who rides her 650 classic in SF.
Let me know if you would like her info as i am sure she would always like to meet new riders!

Also, if you want more info on your V Star, do an internet search on "Custom, Classic and Dragster" and you'll see a really good forum that helps people who own 650 v stars. Nice place to meet people who can help you out if you need it or can ride with.

I like your motorccycle. I was looking at them yesterday and think the Boulevard is one of the nicest. I imiss not having a 5th gear on mine, I keep searching for it when I get on the freeway. Mine s a 2006 Yamaha that I got in 2005 but I already want a 2007 with a more powerful engine.
