Hello from the Philippines
Been riding for about two months, been looking for a nice friendly motorcyle forum for longer, and stumbled onto you fine folks ;-P
Anyway, I'm from Manila, and I ride a grey BMW F650 CS (hence my sig).
It isn't big, it isn't fast, but it punches above it's weight, and puts me in the wind

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. Re: blue2cruise's quote, well, the model was pretty much a sales failure and was discontinued, so i guess there aren't many around. Used, they're quite a good valueblues2cruise wrote:Welcome aboard.
Your bike is very attractive. I have never seen one like that.

Thanks for the welcome. Ive been leeching a few forums for the past week, soaking up information (yup, another soon to be new rider). Pretty cool community going on here.
Gotta say thanks for the info concerning the gsxr-600s and similar sport bikes. I used to think that was the bases for starter bikes, I had no idea they were so twitchy.

Hey I just got back from vacation from the Philippines this morning
You're bike is a cut above what's normally on the roads in the Philippines. I have to say the bike/scooter riders in the Philippines have the biggest cajones. Lane splitting in California is one thing, but you haven't really lived till you've split the lanes in Metro Manila
