Blasted Blast fron Alberta

#1 Unread post by BruceKoukalaka »

Just here to introduce myself and my newest project, a 2001 Buell Blast build. I'm putting the thumper engine into an aftermarket HD rigid frame.

Over the weekend I went to a swap meet with a bunch of parts I don't need, but came home with more than I left with including most everything I took along! I did however get a sweet 8" over narrow springer that will look damn fine on the project once I do some work on the rockers (or get a 5/8" front axle rim to fit) I also scored a FREE Screamin' Eagle exhaust for a big twin as well as a rear fender, highway pegs, and a nice deep comfy seat.

That sounds like quite a haul! You're definitely going to have your work cut out for you this winter.

I don't know what your schedule is like or how involved you want to get, but when it come to parts you can't go wrong heading to the Colorado Motorcycle Expo. I haven't seen any dates for it yet but it'll be in January or February in Denver. Might be worth the trip if you get to next year and still need some doodads. 😀

Well it's been a while since I was on here, just an update I've gotten rid of the rigid frame as my back won't let me ride that way. So I'm back at the start of this build along with my Sportster that I picked up a little while ago. Both bikes will be modified to suit my preferences. I hope to have them finished this year.
