Do you agree that riding a superbike for on road use, is extremely dangerous?

This bike really is amazing! Very strong and handles like its on rails. Thanks to the electronic steering damper. Internals all stock. Removed 10 pound cat/muffler and added a MGP growler and then dove right into the under tail. Also a HB product.

As many know and remains true with this bike, the current liter bike is much too fast for the street. Top speed around 175-180 mph and gets there in a few seconds.

Not if you have a modicum of self control. A friend has a turbo gsxr1k that's never seen more than 80 on the roads...

Being young and male is extremely dangerous.
Riding on the roads with others is extremely dangerous.
Doing stuff that is extremely dangerous is really fun - if you live thru it.

What's your point?

08 CBR1000RR was a real move forward for Honda and the liter bike class. That bike is STILL , in its updated form , arguably the best liter sport bike out there. It doesnt have the BMW's top end power , the R1's cross plane crank, the Kawi's electronics or the Gixxers heritage.....but it is supremely capable . It has superb midrange/upper midrange power and an excellent chassis and brakes combined with good refinement and Honda reliability. You cant go wrong with one.......
