How to get extra leg room for passenger on Honda Spirit?

#1 Unread post by catwoman »

Just purchased a 2007 Spirit, and am a new rider. Tho it's my bike, I would like to be a passenger occasionally. I'm 5'9", and within 15 minutes of starting a ride, my backside and legs are asleep. Legs aren't meant to go out, then up, then in... Purchased what I thought would work after calling Kuryakyn (offset 4" extensions, splined adapters, and wings), but offsets don't clear tailpipe. I need about two more inches of extension out. After another call to Kuryakyn, they concluded they don't make anything that will work. Any ideas? Help!

Sounds like you need a different bike. Some mods just aren't workable.
