You are now looking at what very well could be the next Yamaha V-max to replace the current 21 year old V-Max in production today.

Click Here for 6 desktop sized photos and to read about the 2007 Yamaha Next V-Max concept and to take part in the Yamaha evaluation.

Twenty-one years ago, Yamaha created the VMAX: a motorcycle so groundbreaking and advanced that is still stands alone over two decades after is debut. Raw, pure and shockingly powerful, the VMAX is the 2-wheel equivalent of the classic muscle car with Velocity Maximum as its inspiration. Now, see the new Yamaha V-Max early concept and help Yamaha evaluate it.

Enjoy!

Mike.

Not neccesarily my thing, but that's a sharp looking bike. Definetly an improvement over the current VMax which looks pretty good to start with.

I think Total Motorcycle is the first motorcycle information website to scoop this story as I haven't seen it anywhere else. I know you will all enjoy this first view of it.

Way to go Yamaha it looks like you have another new Legend on your hands! I do like the looks of the next Yamaha V-Max very much as it still retains and blends in the look of the old with the look of the new. It doesn't look as much "cruiser"/standard now as it did in the past and more looks like sport/standard to me. Keeping the air scoop is an important part of the V-Max heritage. I wonder if this time around the air scoop will be functional.

Total Motorcycle is happy to help Yamaha promote their new V-Max motorcycle and help them out in their evaluation of it.

210 horsepower would make the next V-Max have the MOST horsepower than any other major manufacturer production motorcycle today. The new Kawasaki ZX-14 "only" has 197. What can you do with 197 horsepower now-a-days?
