TIGER 1050 PRESS LAUNCH REVIEW
Wednesday, January 10, 2007 - Triumph Press Release - Total Motorcycle - www.totalmotorcycle.com
Triumph hosted an international press launch for the alll new Tiger 1050 in early November in a sea side resort in Marbella, Spain. Southern Spain offers some terrific riding and a landscape that closely resembles the southwestern corner of the United States. With the Meditteranean on one side and steep mountains and the prerequisite twisty roads on the other, Marbella was the ultimate spot to highlight the versatility of the Tiger 1050.
Numerous journalists from all over the globe rode the new Tiger 1050s up into the mountains, navigating gently twisting and fast sweepers. Here the Tiger 1050 suspension and chassis really shows its strength. The bike tips in easily and is rock steady through corners. Just when you think you can’t possibly lean the bike over any further, the Tiger 1050 drops even more and the lean angles are astonishing on this machine!
Initial feedback was extremely positive from all of the American journalists. Comments about the excellent suspension, strong motor, and unique styling filled the dinner conversation. Check out the magazine reviews in early 2007!
