2013 #Edmonton Motorcycle and #ATV Show - ON THE STEEL HORSE SHE RIDES

EDMONTON, AB (December 14, 2012) – The doors to the 2013 Edmonton Motorcycle and ATV Show will swing open at noon on Friday, January 11th, it will showcase the new line-up of 2013 motorcycles, scooters and ATVs from all the major manufacturers. The show runs January 11-13, 2013 at the Edmonton Expo Centre, Northlands.

All the top manufacturers will have their 2013 models on display. Show goers will have the opportunity to check out all the motorcycles, ATVS and scooters in addition to the most current aftermarket accessories, gear, apparel, accessories, touring destinations, clubs and a whole lot more.
Friday night will cater to the female rider. We are offering half price admission to all the ladies that come through the doors after 5:00 pm. “More women are choosing to take the forward seat and grab the handle bars of their own motorcycle and manufacturers have taken note and are now designing bikes that are geared to unique needs of the female rider,” says Laurie Paetz, Show Manager, “SHE Rides Nite is a celebration of women and their motorcycles.” The evening will wrap up with one lucky lady taking home a $5,000.00 gift certificate from Cycle Works Motorsports. What a great way to kick off the 2013 riding season.
The high flying feats of the Evolution of Extreme Show will leave audiences in awe. This year’s team features some of North America’s most notable freestylers including Keith Sayers, Ted Culbertson, Cody Elkins, Rich Kearns and Drake McElroy. To add another thrilling dimension to this already exciting show, these freestylers will be joined by Team Empire stunt riders Ernie “EDub” Vigil and Nick “Apex” Brocha. They will burn rubber, perform wheelies and maneuver their motorcycles in ways few have seen before. There are seven shows throughout the weekend.
Once the youngsters take in the Evolution of Extreme Show they are sure to want to give the sport a try. The Yamaha Kids Riding Academy (YRA) is the perfect opportunity to do just that. Kids between the ages of 6 and 12 can sign up for a session which includes professional instruction followed by the chance to gear up in all the latest motocross gear and take to the track on a Yamaha off-road motorcycle. This will give them the chance to try riding in a safe environment and hone their skills. These sessions fill up quickly so be sure to sign up early.
Take a step back in time as you peruse the Alberta Vintage Flat Track Association and the Vintage MX Group’s exhibit which is a tribute to the classics. Some one-of-a-kind models will be on display for all to enjoy. The proud owners will be on hand to share their knowledge, love of motorcycles and spread their infectious passion with eager show-goers.
