SHARK Helmets will be presenting the 2017 range of helmets at this year’s Motorcycle Live show – including the new D-Skwal, Ridill, Spartan Fiber and a number of new designs on existing popular models.

The D-Skwal has been designed with both sport and performance in mind. Based on the emblematic Skwal helmet with integrated LED lights, whose success has not waned since it first hit the market, the D-Skwal features an injected thermoplastic resin shell, integrated sun visor, anti-scratch Pinlock® ready visor and fastens using a micro-lock buckle system. It has the ‘Autoseal’ system which flattens the visor onto the helmet – which protects against water, cold and wind noise.

The ventilation has been optimised by means of state-of-the-art Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) techniques. The interior is removable and washable and the helmet is compatible with SHARKTOOTH®. Available in sizes XS-XL. RRP’s start from £169.99.

The Ridill has joined the Pulse line-up – the injected thermoplastic resin shell features a 2.2mm flexible and scratch resistant Pinlock® compatible visor, an integrated sunshield, SHARK’s Easy Fit glasses system, removable lining and fastens using a micro-lock buckle system. Available in sizes XS-XL. RRP’s start from £129.99.

Also new for 2017, the Spartan Fiber range – made from multiaxial glass fibre. This joins the Spartan Carbon range - which has had a host of new colours added to the range.

Both the Spartan Fiber and Spartan Carbon range benefit from being developed using the latest reverse engineering and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) technology, aimed at achieving optimal aerodynamics and rider comfort. It features a retractable sunvisor, ‘SHARK SKIN’ cover on the side mechanism of the visor for reduction of whistling noise and a double spoiler on the rear with incorporated air extractors for increased internal cooling and aerodynamic trail.

It comes with all the features you’d expect from a premium SHARK helmet: SHARKTOOTH® compatibility, quick release visor system, removable and washable lining, SHARK Easy Fit for glasses wearers, anti-scratch visor and it fastens using a double-D strap system.

There are a number of colour options to choose from in the Spartan Carbon range with an RRP from £349.99. The standard Spartan is available in blank and graphic options - with an RRP from £259.99. The Spartan range is available in sizes XS-XXL.

The Race-R Pro, Skwal, EVO-ONE and EvoLine ranges have also been bolstered with the addition of new colour schemes and graphics.

These highlights, along with other helmets from the 2017 product range, will be on show at Motorcycle Live (19-27 November) in Hall 3, Stand 3C35.
