Hey Mike! Somehow I don't think you reading those comics had ANYTHING to do with the dialogue...

Finally my internet is up again! Been down ever since i got home

Ok ,so, my Search Angel, John Waile and I met at Sechelt Public Library Tuesday because it is closed on Monday’s. He is a very funny guy, and can also speak 3 different languages! Anyway, he found a copy of the screening waiver form in my medical records submitted to Hanshin hospital in Kawanishi, Hyogo. I asked him, “huh? I don’t have a birth certificate?” and he said nope, you weren’t born in a hospital. Apparently, when a newborn is delivered in a facility other than a hospital, the parents must be instructed on the importance of having the hearing screening performed and will be given information to assist them in having the screening performed, or something along those lines. He showed the form to me and I was like, heh, it’s all in Japanese… and also a lot of the fields were blank, hmm how ironic…
Here is basically what was on it translated by him:
Mothers full name –Kumi (the rest blank)
Fathers full name –blank
Full name of child -blank
Family name –Hamasaki
Address –blank
Gender -female
Birth date -February 2, 1989
Birth time -blank (N.A.)
Birthplace - Hakui, Ishikawa (-shi? -ken?)
Birth weight -blank (N.A.)
Blood type -(not telling)
Number of children, of this number, now living -2
Physician / doctors name and signature, some notes, and other stuff...
I guess they only have to submit as much as they want, (at least back in '89) but it makes me suspicious that certain fields are left. Also it says I have a sibling O_o.
BTW - (Life history in a nutshell) The adoption care center in japan was closing down for good, and they didn’t have anyplace send all of the orphans, so we got transferred to Germany. My paperwork etc. never followed me. There, I was adopted, when I was 3.
Remember these guys do this stuff free of charge, so it was really nice of him to find all that he did. And even more nice that he met me in person.
We talked for about 3 hours, I thanked him profusely, then i headed home. It was totally worth it
-anyway-
I win!

Yays 104 is back!
Fantastic, you learned more about your past! Unfortunatly they didn't fill out all the fields... but perhaps with those bit of information, there is hope to delve even further!
What a wonderful man, and organization! Met you in person, researched this free of charge, everything!

Wow, that's quite a story you came back with! You CAN find your birth parent(s), sibilng etc, I did. It took me 11 years (I'm adopted myself) and found them about 5 minutes from where I lived all my life. I've found my birth mom and found out that I have a 1/2 brother and 1/2 sister! Amazing as I never thought I'd have a sister. wow.logitech104 wrote: leaving to canada for a while to check up on past history records and such, be back soon! love you guys, bye!
