ceemes,
I could always out-source......cold, wet, limp spaghetti noodles are easy to find even in Texas, and given the rants on more then a few political boards, there seems to be plenty of illegal immigrant labour down there looking to make a buck or two.
As you know, the scales in life are balanced. Lets resume this subject with Patrick in August 2008 when his tires are melting in the heat  .

I was stationed at Ft Sam Houston, San Antonio,TXs and sumbiotch its hot in the summer. Not Hawaii hot with the cool breezes of the trade winds criss crossing the island but it can kill you heat not fit for man nor beast. No offense to all ya'll Texas folk. Its an acquired ability.

I got my pay back today. I rode in a Christmas Parade of Lights parade tonight and man I will never do it again. I am exhausted and I should have known. I think I put my feet on the pegs 3 times for about 5 seconds through the whole thing. A VNC 1500 does not like that much. The weather was warm so the bike got hot, did not quit or over heat but I could have fried and ege on er.

Patrick,

I am chomping at the bits to post photos of a couple recent Toy runs I went to. At first Walmarts lost them, when they found them there were no disks. Should have by Monday. They were both pretty large. One was well run one was not.

Me in the toy run. Seems that sidecar bikes get a wide birth. Fine with me. They neither brake or accelerate as good as a solo bike.

Cool picture and great going on the toy run! It is all for the kids. I agree in the distance they/we give side cars and trikes. I know the are not as easy to run as regular bikes.

Merry Christmas as you brought joy to many!!!

Saturday was a lazy day. Got up late, grabbed a book and climbed back under the covers to read for a while, (3 hours   ) In the process of repairing my desktop PC. The power supply fan called it quits, and I'm hoping that the fan replacement will be enough as I don't know if any heat damage was done... :nitenite:, bedtime for now...

Yep, well aware of the history (hubby and coworkers are USNA grads). We started around 8pm last night...lots of food and drinks, played cards and games to pass the time to keep ourselves awake for kickoff at 2am. With the game in hand in the 4th, we called it a night...5am ---> :drunk: :sleepy:

Started building a wall in what will be the downstairs shower room.

Made my own Hoi sin sauce - need to practice more.

Made Chocolate muffins and summer fruit muffins

and finally made Mexican Sun Bread

Look like rustic suns - have cinnamon and chilli in . - just ate some - still warm -nice.
