Re: What did you do today...
finally was able to refinance. My credit has been horrid the last 3 years and I finally got it to a point I could do a refi. Lowered my total payment by $13/month but my actual house payment went up $5/month. However I also knocked 5 years off the loan itself. So I went from 7% down to 4.1% woohoo.

Re: What did you do today...
Today I officially upgraded to the Intermediate level as an EMT. In Ohio, our standards for the Intermediate level are higher than the National standard (NREMT), so I get to perform much more useful skills to help our patients. The testing process took a long time (class was over in early April), so I'm glad to finally be finished. Yay!
Cheers,
Loonette

Re: What did you do today...
Went to the Fan Fest tonight to kick off the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.
They had an electric race bike there putting down 394 ft lbs of torque.
Got to talk to the Ducati mechanics about the Multistrada they're running this year.
Talked to one of the racers in the Open Unlimited class about his car, he's running a bored-out SBC twin turbo on injected methanol, and says they broke the dyno they were on at around 1240 HP and 1200 TQ.
