I have to agree with you! You would think that into the winter time people would have more time to spend on the computer, whilst in the summer everyone is out and about. Strange indeed!

I've been super preoccupied in all aspects of life lately. Two weeks vacation plus lots more vacation coming up in December means work has been incredibly busy (imagine all the year end activities - trying to wrap everything up before end of year - plus only working half time through Nov & Dec...). I just haven't really had time to be online. :( I'll be on a bit more often now though!!!

Tomorrow is my last day of work for 5 days, then I only have to go back for 2 before being off until Jan 7th!!! Whilst I know this has the power to make people jealous, the truth of it is that I haven't used very many of my vacation days in the past 24 months and this is the culmination of all that pile up. I hit a point where it was "use it or lose it" so I'm taking it all. I am also fighting the urge to work on my evenings or days off to try to catch up on all the work I'm missing out on - but I just don't believe in OT when it's not mandatory. So.... I'm waiting to finish my last 3 days of work in 27 days.... ;)

Jealous. I switched from one subsidiary to another back to the Fall. While it was nice to get the check paid out for all my PTO, I haven't accrued alot in four months. It's just enough to go to Puerto Rico for a week.... I know... first world problems.

Sorry! But let me just say that taking our first vacation in 12 months was very refreshing, especially after a move across the world and all that goes with settling into a new house, new job and new culture.

So the other day when I still had 3 days to work (now I only have 2), I counted on the calendar and it turns out that I only had to work 3 days in 27. Wow!

That aside... did someone change the name of this thread? When did it become "winter season lull" and not "Hello???? Anybody here????" ;)

Me thinks your hubby is the culprit, or maybe one of his elves... LOL

Ha! We caught him red handed! And yes he is sitting right beside me and agrees to the crime. ;) He says he did it so that it doesn't advertise that the board is empty, but instead just a winter lull which is normal. :music:
