LOL, you just beat me to it! This was next on my "To-do list" this morning.
HAPPY CANADA DAY!!!
I'll be taking the afternoon off (leaving at NOON) and going down the CELEBRATE Canada Day at Trafalgar Square in Central London:
http://www.canadadaylondon.com/ . This will be our 3rd Canada Day at Trafalgar Square celebration, last year it was the 2nd biggest outside of Canada (1st biggest is in the USA).
Welcome to Canada Day in London 2011
Join us in Trafalgar Square on Friday 1 July 2011 for the largest Canada Day celebration outside Canada’s borders. Thousands of Canadians and friends of Canadians will gather to join in the festivities and celebrate the country’s 144th birthday.
2011 promises to be even bigger and better with more cultural activities, more food and drink from across Canada and a great new line-up of music and entertainment. Whether it’s watching the coveted Trafalgar Cup street hockey tournament, sampling uniquely Canadian food and drink or rocking out to some of Canada’s finest bands, this event is jam packed with exciting activities and performances for everyone.
