Something's burning?

Seriously though..... what does it smell like? Like burning brakes? Like burning oil? Burning plastic?

You think it's hard for you to tell.... try smelling it over the 'net.

If you think it's oil, you should start looking for an oil leak, oil stain or something on the engine, especially around the exhaust and other hot parts.

I guess it dosen't smell like burn oil just like radiator fluid to me. Now i know i don't have a radiator right? Seem like after a ride i get close to the engine it smells.

Well let's hope not.

How clean is your engine? If it's caked up with crud, it could be that + a hot engine you are smelling. Or if you just washed it, it could be soap/wax that didn't wash off or collected in some cranny.

I dunno, I'm just pullin' chit outta my azz now.....

Take it to a shop and have them smell it. <---- sorry, that just strikes me as hilarious.......

I had a buddy (who is a mechanic) look at it and he says that the engine is air cooled and that is why it smells when it's hot.
