How to Test a clutch on a Track bike, without wasting a track day

Hi, have a GSXR 600 with a newish carbon clutch, slips when riding up and down the street. Relatively cold. I have been told they need to warm up before 100% effect? Only a newbie and would lie, to know if anyone knows about this and is there a way of testing a clutch without wasting a track day. Many thanks and can't do much street riding on this as not licensed and small suburb where everyone knows everyon and will get complaints. Cheers
