I have a 2008 swift punisher - the swing arm has 2 to 3" of play up and down due to the location the swing arm connects to the softail cylinders under the bike there are no rubber bushings. The only so-called bushings are small metal cylinders or (.050 thick of tubing-like pieces) around the shoulder of the bolt. Is this normal? Is the play suppose to be there? Or should I reinstall with polyurethane shock bushings?
Please call me to discuss - David Elkins 352-227-8281 or text and I will call you back. Thank you.
