Engine RMPs increase a lot when clutch is pulled

#1 Unread post by RB1118 »

- So I bought my first bike about a year ago and it has always done this but seems to be getting worse.

- When I pull ht clutch, even after not riding fast, the RPMs will increase a lot and decrease when the clutch is let out. I have had trouble finding an explanation online. anyone have any ideas?

- Also when the bike is put in neutral, RPMs go down, its just when the clutch is pulled.

Are you holding the throttle at the same time? Can you try with the bike warmed up
without your hand on the throttle?

A weird thing to ask,I know.
But possible body dynamics..............
