battery no!no!

#1 Unread post by Gnarlyroad »

I actually let my brother touch my bike as I was having some electrical problems and he hooked the battery up backwards.(should I shoot him  ). I think that is probably what blew my main(30 amp) fuse. What other problems can this have caused that I don't know about yet. :frusty:

since the fuse blew, most likely none. Just replace the fuse and hook the battery up the right way.

It sounds like you will be fine once you change the fuse.

Having worked at a battery warehouse I have seen where compeletly drained batteries were hooked up incorrectly and the polarity's have been reversed. Since the fuse blew you had some charge left in the battery before it was hooked up.
