tank swap

#1 Unread post by Fargo360 »

Anyone think a CB450 Tank will fit on a CB360? I've been looking for a different tank for my cafe project, just for something a little bigger (more capacity) They should be roughly the same size as the bike frame I think is the same. Any thoughts?

Make sure you can still get full throttle. I once put a 69-750 tank on a 74-750 and carbs (different from 69) would not clear tank bottom and only got 3/4 throttle, had to raise rear of tank about 3/8 inch.

I haven't had to do anything different with it so far. I just threw it on there to make sure it fit. Went on the same way as my stock tank, just sat higher and is wider...and looks boss doing it. I'll try to get some pics on here tomorrow
