I agree with Sevulturus 100% on the Sony buds, they are the best. Nothing like crusin with the MP3 player full of Judas Priest and other metal! I learned the hard way to keep the volume down, felt like a total a$$ for blowing my horn at the person in front of me because she was stopped for the cop cars that were screaming up from behind that I couldn't hear! Now I keep it on low.

Personally, I tend to make my own music (ie singing) while riding. It's perfect- I can practice my karoke  and keep myself from becoming bored!!

I'd agree with Sev though (and anyone else who said it) only wear them in one ear, so that you are still able to hear what is going on around you. I had a friend who was driving once, and had the music cranked so loudly that she couldn't hear the siren of the ambulance...until it crashed into her car. Be safe!

I know what you mean! I have a Yoshimura can on my Ninja, I love the tones it can create. Only being a 600, it's not super loud, but I can imagine on 1000!! Whew!

Sorry I dont listne to music as the ear plugs hurt my ears after 10 minutes so its not worth the pain, but the singing might be just as bad, glad the engine drowns it out.

Zarakand, where'd you end up finding them? Sounds like I need a pair, if not for riding at least so I can hear my music in the halls at school. The ones I have right now are $12 cheapos that I can't get to stay in both ears when putting my helmet on.

I found them online at the link Sevulturus had posted....but I also found them at Best Buy for the same price, so I bought them there.
Sony Head Phones

Hmm, I hope this fixes the formating issue. Thanks for showing me how to do this Sev.

Just a suggestion but from now on lets put long links in the following format
[ url=type your site here]LINK[ /url]

Remove the spaces between the [ and url, I did that so it displays for everyone to see it.

Hurray for correct and easy page formatting.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.
