fastest cruiser

#1 Unread post by stephen85858585 »

hey guys im looking to buy a used motorcycle in the spring, around $5000-$6000(canadian) and i`m really into the cruiser style motorcycles, i want something that looks bad "O Ring", but that is also rediculously fast and powerful. What would you guys suggest for me in that price range in a cruiser style bike. the faster and better looking, the happier I`ll be. I can add on stuff after to such as hyper chargers, and other accesories, thanks for your help

For $5000-6000 CDN you should be able pick up a good older Yamaha V-Max. King of the tire shredders:

not sure what you are expecting for speed. pretty much any modern cruiser > 500cc will do 110-130kms without breaking a sweat and can be modified easily.

depending on where you are at, that price you are looking at probably a shadow/boulevard/vulcan in the 750-1100cc range. my 750 isn't exactly sport bike speed, but plenty fast/powerful. Personally i think the Shadow Spirits look wicked and there are plenty of mods out there for them.

Yup, the VMAX is still king of the power cruisers including the VTX1800. It doesn't turn very good and gets horrible gas mileage, but what can you expect from a drag monster

V-Max King of the Power Cruisers

We seem to be building concensus here. I had a 1998 V-Max for six years. Rode 67,000 miles. I regret selling it.

I really like the honda shadow 750 A.C.E. but i read a review saying it didnt have enough power? does anyone agree with this, and would it be hard to get more power out of it?
