Exactly what "sharpmagna" said. It was all the buzz around here for a short time a while back. But almost immediately the idea was squashed by those who really know - I doubt if hardly anyone is actually paying to have nitrogen put into their tires. One of the bigger wastes of money out there.

Costco (at least around here) switched to filling all tires with nitrogen a year or so ago. No extra cost. It works fine, lasts a long time which is what I like...tires don't autodeflate as fast.
Ride it like you think owning it matters.
