Well not sure about the dealer I bought it off, but that was in QLD, I'm in the N.T. So had to say.

Congratz on the new bike man, have you been camped out in front of the dealership, with your leathers on making vroom vroom sounds til they get the hint?
how many miles have you put on "their" new bike since you ordered yours?

from talking w/ the dealer, i was told that it was righly recommended that you dont do anything to the tank or finish- Just wash and go.Locopez wrote:Really...u like the denim paint? I love the Street Bob from the Harley Line...
i go nuts over the Denim Black and the new Denim Silver paint schemes!
Do you think that you can wax those paint finishes???
I think the denim look was designed for "low maintance"- kinda giving it that hot rod matte/primer look.
You wont hurt the finnish by waxing it, but then its tougher to maintaine and if you were to wax it, might as well get the less expensive Vivid black, which is the traditional black w/ a nice shiny finish.
As for the Silver, i know what you mean about it being different- i think it might just be the color.

I was a little anxious when i test rode it on a demo day due to the mini apes hangers, but i really like how it feels and i like how much power it has....MajorGator wrote:I have the denim silver (pewter?) Street Bob and just love it to death!Social Distortion wrote:Congrads!
