Pics from my weekend trip...

#1 Unread post by gitarjunky »

This weekend I drove up from LA to San Luis Obispo. It is about 220 miles north of here. It was my first mini road trip, so I thought I'd share with you guys!

Getting ready to leave
Image

On Malibu Canyon road...the backpack wasn't the best idea, got sore after a while, but I couldn't get a tank bag in time....live and learn...

In the valley by Lake Cachuma...

Along the PCH just a few miles north of Malibu

Hope a strong wind doesn't come along....

It was a great trip overall. I got a little sore due to the back pack and my stock seat, but those can both be remedied for next time around. Now if I could just figure out how to get more time off work....

Pretty cool pics, that "black and white" photo would make a killer background.

Way to go, nothing better than throwing a leg over and just doing it.
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R
