Holy popups batman!

#1 Unread post by PostHuman »

Eeeeeew.... anyone else sick of these assaulting my screen?

I don't get how it's happening either since my Firefox has a popup blocker.

Are you talking about the 3 popups a day that come from this site? You may be getting popups from spyware too.

Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

I get a couple of popups when I first log on. They're more annoying at home where I'm on dial-up, but I can't say they bug me that much. I couldn't tell you what they are. I just close them as quick as they "pop-up."

If they're bad, wipe the cookies and start again.

if you don't want the very few pop-ups that help pay for this site, then you can become a site supporter.

+1

The founder of the site zaps ads as the finacial needs are met. Give generously if you love the site but not the ads.

Clearly the webmaster has not heard of online advertising that does not involve popups. It exists, works, and doesn't p1ss off people on the site. :frusty:

If you don't like it, you don't need to come here.
