reminder to wear boots

#1 Unread post by Dirtytoes »

one of the stunters down here was doing a highway wheelie....somehow he wrecks and either the passenger peg or the rearset goes into his left ankle.

kills some nerves.

they had to cut off his big toe becaz the nerve was gone.

he can't walk straight or ride for a year and a half.

so just though id remind everyone to wear your boots.

sh*t happens. be prepared.

He wrecked beacuse of two reasons im gonna guess. Hes stunting on a public freeway in LA where no one pays attention on the freeway, so maybe just maybe hes not the brightest guy. Possibility two, he hit one of the 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

He had crappy doctors. Peripheral nerves grow back.

Maybe they just showed the same amount of care for his health as he did

Anyone who has ever dropped their bike at low speed and ended up with it laying on their leg can appreciate a good set of boots.

I was almost feelin sorry for the squidlet what dropped his bike on his ankle and farked himself up.

Then I farted and was fine.

Sorry. No sympathy for the stuntaz. damn sure not for the ones dumb enough to do it without protection. on the highway.

Not in all cases. My radial nerve was only minimally stretched and compressed and for 4 months my doctors were uncertain if it would ever recover. In cases like mine 15% of patients don't have nerve regeneration ever.

I can see quite a few circumstances where a footpeg to the ankle will create serious trama preventing nerve regeneration

which means he didn't have protection, and if he wasn't smart enough to take the proper precautions before acting like an idiot on a public road, then i've got no sympathy for him either.
