whats the total number of riders on the roads in 2001, 2002, or 2003? is this information even calculated?

I think you'll have to look at the NHTSA data for that one (US only) and then check around for the EU version of such and so forth.
Does not getting "IT" up when needed count as a disability?

that means that if there are 6 million-ish riders, and 103,000 total accidents for riders, then you have 1.6540482590258845% chance of getting in an accident of some sort each year.
and a 0.07311535653732866 chance of getting killed.
