I saw a guy on a board in europe saying your nose is a goner with the caberg flip down sun visor helmet. Apparently his wife worked in an emergency room and she said that all the guys who came in with the caberg had mangled noses. My guess is if the sun visor sits as close to your face in the hjc as the caberg the same will hold true. I still think its a cool idea and would also be convienent but I worry how safe it is having a switch sticking out externally of the shell(what would happend if you landed on that switch?).

You must not have looked very hard. There's a small tinted visor, between your face and the shield, that you can slide down when you want. It's not the first to do it, nor is it the be-all and end-all of helmets, but it looks like a nice setup. Look a little harder before making an ignorant comment next time.

Too bad HJCs don't fit me well. I was forced with the more expensive Shoei for my helmet.

Sarcasm on the internet isn't real obvious without smilies.

Thanks for making my decision process much easier. I guess all I need is some superglue. You just saved me about $240.

Finally HJC answered my emails from last week and again yesterday. The difinitive answer is YES, eyeware can be worn under the helmet and the sunvisor is still operable. Looks like I found my next helmet.

I'll take the Scorpion EXO1000 over the HJC myself...
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.
