hate waiting to get the bike out.

#1 Unread post by ofblong »

I have been trying for 2 weeks now to get my bike out. got a new battery and repaired some bad wiring. However everytime I try to take the bike out from under its blankets either it snows a foot or my wife has "other" plans. i wanted to get the bike out today to lube up the chain and clean the WD-40 off the chrome parts then was hoping this weekend to be able to throw the battery in and figure out if there is any problems with the charge system yet. but nnooo its supposed to snow tonight and rain all day. be 30F Friday and back up into the 40's again Sat and Sunday so hopefully this weekend ill get it started and figure out if there is anything else wrong with the charging system. On top of that I gotta take the rear drum brakes apart on the van and check them cause the brakes are jittering when I stop but the front disks are all smooth so I know its not them. Grr I hate spring lol.

I've already been riding to work for two weeks now.
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

I've been out a few times. The weather warmed up to the lower 40s (woo!) so I took out the bike, changed the oil, and started her up. Only have about 38 miles so far this year, but that's 38 more than zero miles :)

I'm glad I got the "first ride" out of my system, because we got about 3.5 inches of snow today.
