Ducati Recall

#1 Unread post by Gatineau_Guy »

FYI Looks like a ducati recall has occured.

http://motorcycles.about.com/library/re ... ls064c.htm

The following info is from a ducati dealer on a ducati forum:

It looks like the production run was short for the models affected...here's the list
• 620 models were manufactured from October 1 through October
31, 2004.
• S2R models were manufactured from January 7 through January 31, 2005.
• Monster 1000 and S4R models were manufactured from July 1 through July
31, 2004.
Your dealer should have all the information needed for checking your bike and a letter is coming to the owners of the affected bikes directly as well.

Cheers,
Gatineau_Guy

Hmm, does this mean, that after all that waiting, Highside has to send his back?

The advantage in having to wait over four months is that mine wasn't made 'till Feb! Serves those buggers right who got theirs first
I wondered how long it would take 'till some smart-"O Ring" brought that up in here. It's been on the monster list for a few weeks now...

When people say "what's mine is hers", they really mean she can have his old one and he will take the new one... :)
