Even though the windscreen on the bike dosn't come up that high, and I think the windblast hits me about shoulder or upper chest level most (I'm 6'2")... I think that perhaps the turbulance might alter the flight path of the incomming organic projectiles... so the unlucky few meet up with their demise.
