I bought mine for about 230$. It was regina chain with sprockets for SV650s. But that's European price + it was sent from Italy to Lithuania.. :|

Sounds about right.

Don't forget to change out the sprockets with the chain.

Check here for prices on chain.
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

Yea. Definetely change the sprocket too. If you don't you'll end up buying another new chain very soon.

Well, if you go to the dealer, expect to pay more. Sounds like they're quoting an O-ring chain (they'd better be at that price). Not standard for your bike, but a huge improvement over the standard chain that was originally fitted.

Poke around the web. You can find a standard 530 chain for your bike for around $70. An O-ring chain is around $100. I'd highly recommend the extra bucks for the O-ring. It needs less lube, less adjusting and will last twice as long as a standard chain. I bought my last standard chain about 15 yrs. ago.
