#1 Unread post by Iamjustifyd »

Does this look like a Shadow to ya'll? It just looks different to me for some reason.
Thanks,

It looks like a miniature to me.
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

It does look a little different...would be nice if they'd mentioned what year it was and what mods they'd made to it.

I'm suspicious simply for the 75 mpg statement...

It's a 1992. A friend of his died after having the bike only a couple of months. He bought the bike from his wife so she could pay for his funeral. It sat in the garage for years. He took it out, brought to dealer who serviced it and told him to drive it around a little bit once a week. He did this for a few more years. Now he is in his 60's and looking to sell it. He does not ride except around the block once a week or so. I hate to call him back and let him know the blue book is only about $1500-1800. It looks great but wonder how it runs?

thats more than I paid for my 96 deluxe vlx and my bike was worth 2800 2 years ago (I didnt pay that much). Plus I get 55mpg with my bike. There is no way that bike gets 75mpg. He had to of doctored up those pics or it really is a power wheels bike. As for blue book are you looking at the trade in value of it or the selling value? My guess is your looking at the trade in value.

*edit I show its retail at $2100

I may have been looking at trade in, either way it's not as much as he is asking. That was how much he paid the lady for it way back when. Yeah, the gas mileage is a little off :D The man says he doesn't ride so don't know where he got that number from. It would be great tho:)
