Isn't every day ride to work day??
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Unless there's snow on the ground.

Unless you have a hack, that is.

I'll be riding :).

I'm excited to see if there's a noticeable increase in the number of riders on the road. I think Ride to Work Day is a great idea!

I thought Work to ride and ride to work was the blue collar two wheeled warrior mantra! :)

Figures that today is national ride to work day. The one day of this week when I have to drive my car. At least I've gotten to ride the rest of the week.

I also sent a link to local papers. They keep printing everything about hy-breds, bicycles, gas saving tips and other alternative transportation. This was over a week ago, but none of these papers would even mention. (The Denver Post, Pueblo Chieftain and RMN were contacted via telephone to a live person, all others were voice mail, but ALL were also contacted via E mail, still no response)

THESE ARE THE COLORADO PAPERS THAT DID NOT RESPOND (and location)

Fremont County:
Canon City Daily Record

Colorado Springs/El Easo/Teller counties:
Colorado Springs Gazette
Colorado Springs Independent

Denver and entire State:
Denver Post
Rocky Mountain News

Chaffee/Park County:
Mountain Mail

Southern Colorado inc. SLV and Northern New Mexico
Pueblo Chieftain

I did however get notification from:(E mail, newsletter, or on fourms)
Ride to Work (org)
Aerostich
BMW MOA
CRAG
Abate of Colorado (Spokesman)
TMW
BMW of Denver
Denver Craigslist (some one posted link under motorcycles)
Sturgis Mailing list

It was also advertised via fliers at several motorcycle shops, taverns and cafes. I have never acted on Ride to Work as it usually happened during my vacation, and now I only have to walk to work. (Shop is about 30 feet from house)
