Cruisers serve a purpose in the US. They're easily accessible to new and learning riders and are also cheap to insure since they have limited power and all. Plus cruisers are longer in wheel base which helps with stability in a straight line (as most long distance riders do) and cruisers tend to be easier on tires (save for bikes like the Mean Streak). Not sure about comfort though, I prefer the V-Strom seating to any other bike. I dislike super sports (like an acquaintance's GSXR 600). I've got to ride a lot of different bikes thanks to my driving instructor.

My Vulcan 500 after getting new tires is quick in turning and feels very light. The engine is smooth and quick stock and even better after I tuned it to mimic the Ninja 500. Eventually I'm going to replace the front wheel with something smaller and add a flat drag style bar... maybe find a way to get both wheels to accept radial tires. My plans are to make myself a Vulcan 500R. :twisted:
One thing you can count on: You push a man too far, and sooner or later he'll start pushing back.

You know - sometimes its best not to ask for more details... I can only imagine it was the whole squirrel, though.

If you didn't want to enter it don't respond either. Sorry if this poll doesn't meet some peoples standards of what they want it to be. If you feel that way make your own poll. Otherwise keep your negative comments to yourself.

Also you do DRIVE a bike, because it doesn't drive itself! :roll:
And while you are DRIVING the bike you are infact also RIDING the bike. :lol:

I also wanted to respond to the comments about the poll needing more options (ie: other types of bikes). Although I appreciate all the good natured honest responses about other types of bikes owned, I didn't want to know about other types of bikes. I do like to hear from everyone about what you drive if you can post a respectful answer, and not snyde or disrespectful answer.
I only wanted to know what age groups ride/DRIVE cruisers and sports bikes. I understand there are other types of bikes, but where I live it is almost all the two types mentioned. Here in my area we don't really see much else, so that is what my interest is.
If anyone finds this poll dumb, lame etc, then DO NOT read it, respond to it or the comments within.
No one here should be criticizing another for asking questions they want an answer to. If you do not like something move on to something you do like.
That it my opinion.
You only live once!

We currently own:
Me== 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic
2007 Yamaha Royal Star Tour Deluxe
Hubby== 2007 Vulcan 2000 Classic LT
2008 Yamaha Royal Star Tour Deluxe
