1&9 certainly aren't far from where I live, but fortunately I'm rarely on that roadway. I've seen a drunk drive on 27 in my car. Cut across a red light by going at highway speed through one parking lot and in to the Chrysler/Jeep dealer parking lot bouncing up and down the whole way. Really freaky and I was glad i was in a car. If they'd impacted the back of my car it probably wouldn't have helped us much anyway.XB08 wrote:I had a friend killed in Rahway years back. he was at the light ar 1&9 by the old Mcdonels and was rear ended. By a drunk driver. It happens no matter where you live or how safe you are. but when I read that someone when they lost control of the motorcycle, frist thing I think is new rider in a sportbike.
Hmmm option #2... Perfect.BuzZz wrote:When your number is up, it is up and there ain't nothing you can do about it.
I always figured if mine comes up while I'm on a bike, that's an acceptable way to go. Or sandwiched in between a blonde, a redhead and 2 asian women..... either one of those ways works just fine for me.
But that don't mean I don't wear my gear, watch for morons on the road or wrap it up..... I ain't in that big a hurry to go.
There are some bumper stickers I like out therecycleman3763 wrote:it's the cell phone issue. it needs to be enforced where it's illegal and made illegal everywhere! you should not be allowed to talk on your phone and drive unless you are hands free! I see it allllll the time.
