No more worries about falling over!
Awww yeah:
Picked up a Velorex 562C sidecar for my 2006 Triumph Scrambler. Lonnie Cook of Northwest Sidecar out of Boise, ID, did the installation for me. Great guy, lots of stories, fast worker.
The wife followed me back from Boise, armed with the camera:
After some practicing in a parking lot, I gave my buddy sigtrap a ring and we went on a short ride. This marked the wife's first sidecar experience.
Coming out of a left hander, Kim takes a shot from her perspective. Sigtrap is in the lead:
The sidecar gets an incredible amount of attention. Every gas stop on the way north from Boise involved a conversation or three with interested folks.
Next up: hitting up some gravel and dirt roads to test the off-road capabilities.

That pick from her perspective - man that looks close to the ground. It may take more testicles to ride side car than it does to ride on a bike.
BTW - that is a really cute picture of the two of you. My wife would probably never even venture that far on a bike or trike, as the case may be.
They do have a Can-Am Spyder near me for 13.5 K, though.

hmm, no she wouldn't ride on a Can-Am Spyder with me either. I just asked.
She said "After you bought it, I'd have to kill you, so no, I wouldn't ride it."

You know, you could be right - I even mentioned that I'd trade-in both my car and my bike to get it.BuzZz wrote:See, the approach here is all wrong.
You never ask first, ask after it's out in the garage.
It works...... oh, there will be a hellva fight, but it will be a fight over keeping it, not getting it.
I'll have to PM you my city and full name - so if I end up in the papers you can take responsibility - you know in the bars....
"Yeah, I knew this idiot that took my advice after he said his wife would kill him for buying a trike and he bought this trike and his wife killed him... But I got a deal on this trike, wanna go for a spin. It has great traction in the rain."

I've adjusted my headlight a bit and we'll hit up a quick stretch of gravel road this evening. Lookin' forward to not having to worry about falling over due to loss of traction.
Went to a part of campus today with a tricky corner. It's about 110 degrees to the right, uphill. Boy howdy was that sidecar light going around it!
