Tyres

#1 Unread post by Tarzan »

Hi,
The standard tyres I got with my Honda CBF125 are hopeless - it's like driving with wooden tyres as soon as the road gets wet! Can someone please suggest some tyres that are good in the wet?

Thank you!

Continentals are good in the wet if you get tires that have that Active Silica compound. Dunlops too.

What's on them right now?

TVS Tyres are on the bike at the moment. Not very impressive at all.

I had bridgestones on my old 750. They were pretty decent.

I'll take a look at the continentals. Thanks for your input, much appreciated.

when it comes to tires , nomatter what someone says are good you might hate, they are like buy shoes. I had some on my BMW that someone sad they are great and they loved them, only to find out I hated them. I my Buell the stock tires are great for that bike and me. but I wouldn't say they are good for you. but some of what people say here helps alot .
