Very limited 2010 Suzuki models???
I have been watching the official Suzuki website for months, waiting to see the 2010 models come out, and here it is March 2010 and there are only 4! I went to my local dealer and he said Suzuki has scaled back for 2010 and won't be releasing very many new models. He said there won't be any 2010 DR-Z400SM released in the US. So I waited all this time for nothing? I decided to go buy a 2008 model instead.
Re: Very limited 2010 Suzuki models???
Suzuki still has a lot of '09 stock sitting on dealers floors, so they're committed to selling those bikes before swamping their showrooms with new bikes. New street bikes will appear again for the 2011 model year.

Thanks for the welcome!
I think Suzuki is a little short-sighted. I didn't buy the 2009 model DR-Z400SM because I didn't like the barbed wire graphics on it. If you don't like the barbed wire graphics, then having to wait 2 years for something new is unreasonable!
Last week I bought a 2008 model because I liked the graphics on it, but I had to get a used one, since there were no new 2008's left in stock. I was prepared to buy a 2010, and I had the money in hand, but there was nothing new available.

Wasn't the graphic a sticker? If so you could have gone the V-strom method, pulled it off and added a different years

I was actually disappointed as I thought it was going to be more wild looking. It's too sedated.
The SM is a super fun bike to ride isn't it?

Well it is a sticker, but it has clear coat over it, so it's not so easy to change for the average person. I guess putting a decal over top of what's there may have been an easier option.

none of the good looking nakeds ever do. and there's so many street-fighter type bikes that i'd LOVE to see out on the roads even if it's completely unreasonable for me to think i could own one of each.....

Re: Very limited 2010 Suzuki models???
i was lookin for the 09 c90t & there were none around my area so i got an 08 c90t at a good price that allowed me to add on about $2000 in accessories. i was told suzuki had limmited thier bike production in 2010. what worked for me is i got thier 1.99% financing for 4 yrs
