Looking at buying another motorcycle. I really like naked standards like fz, gsf and cb. or even a unfaired sv650. Really looking at these in the 600 class. Any thoughts on why one is better or one is just not good. Any others in or near the same class of bikes i am open to also. What are your thoughts?

Considering I own a SV650, I am not very objective... But I heard that the FZ has a lot of power for a 600cc...

Depending on where you live, might want to consider a CBF600

You can't beat the street triple for performance but having ridden both a piped street triple and a 696 Ducati' I picked the 696.....and voted with my $$$ :)

I bought a Z750S a couple of years ago and looked at pretty much all of the naked 500-750 class before purchasing. My next favourite was the FZ6. I liked the SV650 and Ducati Monster a lot but the riding positions for both had my lower back screaming after only about 5 mins into each test ride.

There are lots of great choices out there, but I suggest that for any bike you can't test ride make sure you sit in riding position for about 5 mins on the show room floor to make sure it's good for your back.

:twocents:

Good luck and have fun!

I don't guess there is anything wrong with any of these but like some said a riding postion that does not work for some. I was looking at used bikes. And was really more interested in unfaired. I live in Georgia so a lot of nice weather most of the year and not much need for a fairing. Mostly just to and from work. This year has been bad with a lot of either cold or wet days though. Guess it might just be more about what you find for the right price.
