Guys PLEASE give me some good tips on online parts suppliers

#1 Unread post by crazyeddy »

seeking parts suppliers who do you use? How are prices? amazon, ebay, etc etc. I'm hearing so much different opinions here. I spend about 4K a year on upgrades. (then sell) thats why wife calls me A_hole I can't blame her. But more of a hobby. just give me ones maybe you have used and your COMPLETELY happy with prices. I tend to over research PRICES. Any help would be awesome

Well, I'm not making an amazing amount of money but to me customer service is way more important than prices. I've had absolutely zero problems with kneedraggers.com and bikebandit.com and those are the only places I go (every once and a while i'll get on ebay). Kneedraggers had lost on of my current orders, called them and they shipped it UPS overnight with a tracking # up within 30 min. I've used Bikebandit since early 2000's and will always buy from them. Bikebandit can be a little slow due to some parts coming directly from Japan (only own japanese bikes) but you get what you order every time, at least with my orders I have, just my .02 cents.

If I were you I'd give my credit card a workout over on Newenough.com before most other places.
Then bikebandit, motorcyclesuperstore, places like that.

I like http://www.newenough.com http://www.compacc.com http://www.foxcreekleather.com and even though dealers are popular for charging high prices I would price a part then compare them at sight like bikerbandit and others.

I like Dennis Kirk, they are the only ones that never ripped me off, plus they will beat any low price on the same item you find aywhere else online and beat it by $1 and the part comes UPS to me in 2 days, I got a top of the line Warn 3000 winch for $249 from them when the same winch lists for $499 everywhere else.
Twisted Throttle has items nobody else has mostly for sport-touring bikes.
If you own a Suzuki the BEST price on genuine Suzuki parts and accessories is Oneida Suzuki
Tires? American Motorcycle Tires .com.

DO NOT order from JC Whitney they are crooks! What they did to me is they didn't have the part I ordered in stock so they sent me my money back WITHOUT the high shipping and handling charge, I called and complained but they didn't care!
