When it's 95° outside I prefer to wear nothing at all, but I know better.
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

Always wear a helmet, eye protection, and protective clothing. Never ride under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Sorry when it is that hot I don't wear a jacket. It may not be safe but passing out wouldn't be safe either. If I have to wear a jacket I have a lighter weight padded one that provides a lot of ventilation.

I don't think it ever gets that hot around here. Maybe 90 but that's about it. Anyway, a denim jacket works for me when it's too hot for leather.

That's when I bring out the mesh, and wet my shirt as well.

i prefer to wear my leather, but the heat sends me to mesh at 80 and above.

:)
still recovering - back to crutches, then walking with a stick, then running - then hopefully riding again!

I wear leather... even when it is hot. If I'm moving the heat doesn't bother me much... 3 vents on each side and the sleeves unzipped. Sitting at a red light and wearing nothin' I would be sweating ...so...I try to not ride in 90 degree if I can.

I think maybe an outfit made of chainmail would be the answer. Though a little heavy the air would pass through nicely. Mind you if you were sitting too long the metal would heat too much. :ermm:

And chainmail would get hot enough to cause serious burns if you went sliding along the pavement at speed.

I used to have a pair of gloves with metal rivets along the palms to prevent wearing through the leather in a crash. Nice idea, but one day I got the chance to test it. I had about 30 little burns in each palm after I got up. They were small, but 3rd degree and hurt like hell for way too long. I'll stay away from the steel armour from now on.......
No Witnesses.... :shifty:
