I own the only Harley-Davidson XR1200 in Slovenia (I know this because when I went to register it at the Department of Motor Vehicles, they had to create a new category for it in the computer database).

I didn't know you were in Slovenia, I thought you lived in the UK.

My Moto Guzzi V7 Stone is the only one in Houston (pop 6 million) and I can't imagine more than say a 100 have sold so far (it's a new 2013 model) in the USA. But as I am not sure if a new bike can really be called rare?

I'm originally from Scotland and get back there when I can, but I live and work in Slovenia.

I don't own them anymore, but I had an 88 and a 90 FZR400. Maybe not rare world-wide, but not common state-side.

My 2006 Yamaha MT-01 is pretty rare...never imported to the States, so Canada only...not a big seller and only imported from 2006 to 2009...I do love it though!

I NEVER understood why Yamaha never bought the MT-01 to the states. For that matter, I don't why they stopped brining the TDM here as well.

---------------------------

Side note: On the "doesn't exist in our database" side of things, when I bought my Husky SM510R, PA's title database didn't recognize the VIN, so all paperwork had to be paper filed, including having to run a pencil over the VIN plate to get a title. Then, GEICO didn't have it in their database, so my insurance paperwork listed it as a TE510. So, every other time I got pulled over, I would get grief about it. Let me tell you, between Italian wiring and it being a Supermoto, getting pulled over was fairly common.

mogster, I love the uppercase 1's... LOL

I owned a '71 Kawasaki H1, again, not so rare then, but I have only seen one on the road in recent years...
