Bike day!
I know I haven't been around for quite a while, let's just say that work got ca-razy and I didn't really want to spend my spare time on a computer when I was done.
I just picked up a '11 BMW F 800 R yesterday and managed to get her in the garage right as a huge thunderstorm came through. Looking forward to putting some more miles on today.

Very nice, grats. That's one of the bikes I was looking at for a while, look forward to hearing some feedback on it.

Re: Bike day!
Very Nice! How do you like it so far? How many miles do you have on it now?
Life may begin at 30 but it gets real interesting at 140!

Wicked cool, dude. I like how the pipe is on the left. Really shows off it's lean look.

Re: Bike day!
So far, so good. Not enough miles yet (only 66)..weather and Mother's day kind of interfered. Looking forward to a week of much nicer weather to put some real miles on.
Some more photos!
So far I have to say what is surprising me most is the torque. The bike just moves so smoothly and easily and does not feel like it is going fast at all (when it actually is!) so I need to watch it. I can't wait until the break-in period is done though.
