Nope, Suzuki GS500E
Great reliable little bike! It has the clip ons, which makes it an '89 unless someone switched them (which lots of guys do). It has a bit of a cult following...look for a gstwin forum, they are quite the fanatics about the bike!

Thanks you guys !!! I will tinker with it through the coming weeks see what I can do. I am trying to get a key from Suzuki as I don't have one. Not such a big deal but the seat the tank and the ignition use the key I'd like to see if I can get one. I have a title in my truck I didn't even look what year it is .

Re: I got a new machine to play with!!!!
Did my last 14 years and 175k miles on a 97 and a 02. Put 80k on the 97 before it was totaled and have 98k and counting on the 02. Was still doing 400-500 mile Interstate days at 70-80 mph indicated on them to get to the mountains to play back when I was a kid of 70. You may park your Buell and forget it after you do a few twisties on the GS. LOL

The GS500E are great bikes to work on and fun to ride as well. Congratulations! And it looks in good shape too.

Nice looking Suzuki.. It is pretty cool looking. I like Honda a lot and am thinking of getting the Honda Forza 300cc scooter. They do 86+ mph, a well respected name, and are new in 2014. They cost $5600.. I like the Suzuki Burgman too, but the 400cc and $6700.

Re: I got a new machine to play with!!!!
I do enjoy testing wheel bearings but alas the motor is completely grenaded so I am selling the frame and title to help get me to my new goal, which I haven't figured out which machine it will be?
