Highways you'd like to ride...

I saw this picture on facebook, the person said they take visitors up this road to the wonderful restaurant at the top, but always take a different route home...

This is in the Italian Alps, are there any highways that make your list of, "I'd love to do that route."

That would be more awesome if you could figure out when there wouldn't be a string of cars blocking the road like in the picture.

I've been looking at Google Earth and thinking that there are a bunch of great backroads around Kellogg, Idaho.

There use to be a lot around here in the past, but they have now all been developed, civilized, controlled, straightened out and basically pussyified all in the name of progress and urban sprawl.....now it take a good hour or two just to get out of heavy traffic.
Always ask why.

That's why I'm planning on leaving. Possibly July. The traffic congestion is constant.

1. Cabot Trail, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
2. Pacific Coast Highway, California.
3. The road from Quito to Banos in Ecuador.
4. Highway 40 south out of Bogota, Colombia, down the mountain side.
5. Norwegian Coastal Highway.
6 Stelvio pass Italy.
7. The A816 up the west side of Scotland.
8. The spice road through the East to China.....
