Z550 cafe racer and carbs

Hi, new on here but I am looking for people that can help with some of the things I dont know yet. First, took the carbs off my bike to clean them and get the crappy Ebay filters off they have four plugs going into the carbs and i want rid of them, any chance of some help to tell me what they Re and how i can remove for good. Thanks all
