A semi interesting story.

A gentleman came into the motorcycle shop I work in today. He was all banged up and had a knee brace on. I asked him what happened and he stated he had been in a motorcycle wreck.

I asked him if he was wearing gloves. He showed me his torn and scabbing hands.

I asked him if he was wearing his jacket, he showed me his torn and scabbing arms.

I asked him if he was wearing his helmet. He said his head was okay, but he was not wearing his helmet.

The freaky part was, that he had a dream the night before that he was going to wreck his bike in exactly the same spot he wrecked it in.

Call me crazy, but if I had a dream I was going to crash my bike on a road I knew I was going down the next day, I would have at least worn SOME gear.

I would call that a self full filling prophecy .

I been thinking how I'm gona survive the heat with all the stuff on I plan on wearing. Not even the heat, what's it gona feel like with all the armord stuff + back protector + Alpinestars + race gloves, you kniow what I mean . On the motocross track I never even thought about what I was wearing once I was moving, I hope it will be the same on the road. But ya know what, I'm gona give it a good try.

Last summer, I noticed I didn't ride much when it got above 90. I didn't want to ride without gear, and the gear was just too darned hot.

That's what i'm talking about. I do not want to pull up to a light and pass out, O man that would suck. The riders at work say I'm gona pull off the road and rip off all that gear in the heat. A couple summers ago we had 90 and up for 4 weeks straight up. Watch that happen again this summer, just when I get my ZX-6R..

When it gets really hot I switch to my mesh with the armour that works really well. I usually carry the liner in case it gets cool in the evening or I get caught in the rain.
Often wonder though just how effective the mesh with armour is, anyone know?
