I've parted several K's out(including a 1986 K100RS) and built one from three wrecked bikes.
I doubt anyone would've tried to start it since all of the oil would've leaked out immiedately - unless they're dumb as a post.
If the steering head isn't bent(They are very sturdy up front) then it would not be that hard to get it going - but it would be a labor of love , not to make money:
Fork tress(which are probably busted: $150 (i've got some)
Forks: $150-200
Fender: $35 (I've got one from an 86 I could sell you)
Faring: Replace it with a fairing from another K75 or K100 - much easier than trying to source a good main fairing and fairing lower.
Timing cover: $50
Frame: $150 (i've got an 86 K100RS with a clear title)
Valve cover: $35-70 depednig on if you buy a scraped one or a clean one
Can't tell from the pciture but it may need a new lower timing sprocket and exhaust cam - hard to tell from the picutre but they'tre probably OK
As a parts bike, it's probably worth $500-700 - done right, you could EASILY get $1500 out of it - depends on mileage though for drive train and rotors.
Where is it? I might be interested.
